Shipping:

Where do you ship your products to? Do you ship internationally?

Our products are currently available for purchase across Canada and the US. We will be shipping internationally in the coming months. Please sign-up to our email to be notified when international shipping is made available and/or email us at hello@maharamindfulness.com to be added to our wait list.   

How long does it take for my delivery?

Once an order is placed online, orders are typically processed in 1-2 business days. US and Canada shipping times typically range from 2 – 14 business days based on shipping option chosen and location. Please be mindful that you may experience unusually long shipping delays due to COVID-19, and standard shipping times may not apply. Postal services have also suspended on-time delivery guarantees at this time.

US Shipping Options:
  • Canada Post Small Packet USA Air (5 to 8 business days) – Note parcel is not tracked  (note: as of January 11, we are no longer offering this option) 
  • Canada Post Tracked Packet USA (8 to 13 business days)
  • Canada Post Expedited Parcel USA (5 to 11 business days)
  • Canada Post Xpresspost USA (3 to 6 business days)
  • DHL Service (2 business days) – for orders of two or more journals shipped to the same address

  • Canada Post Expedited Parcel (2 to 8 business days)
  • Canada Post Xpresspost (2 to 4 business days)
  • Canada Post Priority (2 to 4 business days)

 What courier service do you use?

We use Canada Post, USPS and DHL for orders shipped to Canada and the US.

Is signature required upon delivery?

No signature will be required until further notice - if you are not at home at the time of delivery, the courier will leave your package in a safe location if possible. Otherwise a notice card will be left indicating the nearest pick up location.

Orders:

Purchased a journal as a gift and need to send it soon? Download and print a gift voucher or send via email to let the recipient know a special gift is on the way: Gift Voucher 1 / Gift Voucher 2 / Gift Voucher 3.

What currency do you use?

Customers may checkout in either USD or CDN. Please select your preferred currency to checkout with from the drop down menu while shopping. Note that payments made through PayPal or Google Pay will be automatically processed in USD. 

Do you offer discounts on bulk orders?

If you are interested in ordering 10+ journals please email us at hello@maharamindfulness.com. Discounts are available on larger orders. 

Where is my order?

Once you place an order online for in-stock items, please allow for 1-2 business days for your order to be processed. During high season, orders may take 2-3 business days to process due to high volume of requests. We will do our best to get your orders processed as quickly as possible. You will receive an email with an update once your order has been shipped, including a tracking number (note - for US customers who chose Small Packet USA Air shipping, the package is not tracked)

Can I edit my order?

If the order hasn’t been processed, you have up to 24 hours from the time of purchase to edit any order in the capacity of changing or adding items, and/or requesting multiple orders to be shipped together. You may edit your shipping address up until you have received confirmation that your order has been fulfilled and ready for shipment. How do pre-orders work? 

If you pre-order an item that is out of stock, it typically takes 8 weeks to process. Once items are in stock, orders are processed in sequence.You will receive an email with an update once your order has been shipped, including a tracking number (note - for US customers who chose Small Packet USA Air shipping, the package is not tracked)

As you know the pandemic has caused a number of unusually long shipping delays for retail across the board so some shipments may be delayed.

We are doing our absolute best to get these to you as quickly as possible. 

Returns:

What is your return policy?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer a full refund on products within 14 days from when item is delivered. Returned products must not be used, and original product packaging must be intact. If it has been more than 14 days, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund. If you receive a product from us that is damaged or defective, please email us at hello@maharamindfulness.com

Are returns free?

Please note that all shipping costs, initial, as well as, return, will be the customer’s responsibility. Return shipping labels are not provided by Mahara. Your original shipping fee is not refundable. You are responsible for paying these fees and we’re unable to waive or refund them, even if the order is returned back to us. If the return is due to an error on our end, we will provide a return shipping label. If you have any questions about returns, please email us at hello@maharamindfulness.com.

When will I receive my refund?

As soon as we receive the returned product in good condition, your refund will be processed within 2 business days. All refunds will be applied to the original payment, excluding shipping fees.

If you have not received a refund yet, please contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take 5-10 business days before your refund is processed. If you have done the above and still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@maharamindfulness.com.

Do you offer payment plans or financing options?

We currently do not offer payment plans or financing.

Will I have to pay customs or duties on my purchase?

Typically journals fall under the category of books and there should be no customs charges. However, in rare cases, if you are charged for customs, please get in touch at hello@maharamindfulness.com.

Journal & Packaging Details:

What colours do the journals come in?

The journals are available in 3 colours: Midnight Blue, Cobblestone and Mahogany.

Do you offer gift wrapping or custom notes?

We do not offer gift wrapping or custom notes at this time. 

What packaging materials do you use?

The journal is wrapped in tissue and mailed in a bubble envelope or cardboard box. We are currently looking to transition all our packaging and journal materials to be as environmentally friendly as possible, while ensuring the product gets to you without any damages. 

What mental health organizations do the sale of these journals support?

A percentage of every journal sold goes to supporting the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Canada and the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) in the US.
